7 green things we do to help save our Planet

Zero punch, that is, as in a non-existent punch list (list of necessary fixes usually done later after the job had been completed). We aim for zero fixes and train our installers to do the job right the first time. Our philosophy is that if we don’t have to go back to the project site to fix anything we save valuable resources: manpower, materials, supplies, and fuel. 

Recycle old windows. Whenever possible we recycle parts or entire old windows. From most of the windows, we are able to recycle aluminum tracks, aluminum screens, and storm windows. In some cases we can recycle plastic parts of the window.

Reduce waste. We save even the smallest amounts of leftover materials such as wood, insulation, and nails at each project’s completion. We have these on hand when we need them – this saves time, money, and the environment. 

Minimize use of paper in daily operations. Whenever possible we use electronic way of doing business: electronic estimates using estimating software, pay our bills online, send faxes online etc. without the need to waste paper.

Use less fuel in our trucks. We bundle job site visits and reduce the number of material runs by making sure our trucks are stocked.
