2. What windows are better: those made of wood or vinyl?

 

Unfortunately, it is very hard to answer this question. Some people value wood for its natural look. Others like vinyl windows because they are virtually maintenance-free. With vinyl windows, you will never have to paint again. Vinyl windows will never chip, peel or rot. Thanks to special additives added to the resin that our vinyl windows are made of they will never fade.
Two more points to consider while making a decision which windows you should buy: - Economic-vinyl windows are less expensive and in most cases have better energy efficiency - Environmental-by buying vinyl windows you save trees from being cut for the production of wooden windows

3. I like natural look of wooden windows, but I also like vinyl windows for their low-maintenance, price and durability. What should I do?

4. What other colors besides white do you carry?

 

You can also buy windows that are beige all through or windows that are brown on the outside (American brown exterior) and white on the inside.

5. How do I know if I need new windows?

 

Signs that may indicate you need new windows:
- Appearance – If you are unhappy with the looks of your old windows, they show signs of deterioration
- Candles do not stay lit nearby a closed window
- Condensation or frost buildup
- Drafts – If you can feel air coming in through a closed window
- Operation problems – if you have difficulty to close of open windows
- Your existing windows are extremely hard to wash

6. I need 2 triangle windows. Do you carry those shapes?

 

Yes. We can provide you with virtually any shape imaginable, starting with windows with round tops,ellipses, eyebrows, circles, ovals, octagons, pentagons, cathedral and more. For more info please click on special shapes

7. Do you carry stock windows?

 

No. All of our windows are custom-made to the nearest 1/8th of an inch. This assures much better fit into your existing window opening than stock windows and easier installation. On the contrary, stock windows that you will find at your local retail store require more remodeling work which takes more time and money.

8. Are your windows covered with any warranty?

 

Glass Breakage Warranty at no additional charge. This means that if glass gets broken by a rock, ball or anything else, you will get a replacement glass at no charge at all for a lifetime. Also, our windows are backed by best Lifetime Limited Warranty in the industry.

9.How long will I wait for my windows?

 

In most cases you will enjoy your new windows in 2-3 weeks. However, special orders, for example: special shapes require additional lead time. Please call our sales representative for more information.

10. How long is the installation going to take?

 

90% of our projects are installed in just 1 day. However, larger projects may take a little longer.

11. Will my existing interior wood-work be damaged?

 

Our installers are trained to take extra caution while working in your house. First of all, we always try to determine if installing windows from the outside of your house is possible. If so, there will be absolutely no damage done to your interior wood-work. While installing windows from the inside we will have to remove quarter rounds on the sides of your existing windows and install them back after your replacement window has been installed. In most cases, there is no damage either.

12. Will my old windows be hauled-off?

 

Yes. We will remove your old windows from your premises at no additional cost to you

13. Do your windows have any feature that reduces noise from the outdoors?

 

Yes. Argon gas that is included in every window that we install has great noise reduction qualities. You will hear the difference right away!

14. How my new windows affect energy costs?

 

Our high performance insulated glass packages (Climatech, Climatech 2, Climatech-Plus) will cut you energy bills considerably. The amount of these savings will vary from house to house based on construction of your house. In most cases our clients will save 15%-35% annually on heating and cooling costs.
